Anthuriums are famous because of their glowing "heart" shape.

They bloom all year and have a fantastically long shelf life. The "novelty" type Anthurium doesn't look like a heart but comes in tulip, flame, butterfly or other odd shape. Anthuriums come in the whole spectrum of colors.
