It is named after the island Maui, where the dry slopes of Mt. Haleakala offer the ideal growing ground for Hawaii’s Proteas. They are a tropical flower, but require a cooler temperature with cold nights and an altitude of about 3000 ft.

A personal gift card with your message will be included. Flowers come unarranged, and simply need to be placed in a vase with water. They may vary with season and might look a bit different from picture. . We guaranty your satisfaction.

NOTE: From May-Sept: Gingers and Heliconias will be substituted for part of the bouquet, since the Protea production is low in summer.

CARE ISTRUCTIONS: You can simply place the flowers in your own vase or do an artistic arrangement with “Oasis” flower foam in a tray. Change water 2x a week. Keep all leaves out of water, or flowers will wilt faster. These flowers will slowly dry by themselves, if left in water or out of water. Keep away from extreme cold and heat! Place flowers indoors between 60 – 90 degrees, away from heaters and air conditioners.
