Lady Slipper Orchid Plant

The unusual shape of this showy orchid give it it's name: Lady Slipper. The latin name for this is "Paphiopedilum". They are one of the best orchids for home growing, requiring only fairly bright light and normal home temperatures.

This flowering Orchid plant makes a very beautiful gift; wrapped in colorful floral paper and presented in a wicker basket. With a little bit of watering this gift will be blooming for a whole month.

CONTENT: I blooming "Lady Slipper" Orchid plant (Paphiopedilum) in a 4” pot, has 1-2 flower spikes and an attractive wicker basket.

SHELF LIFE: This Orchid plant will bloom for about a mont, and then with proper care, will bloom again year after year.

CARE ISTRUCTIONS: Keep this plant in temperatures of 65-85 degrees, place in indirect sunlight and water once a week. Make sure water drains well. Fertilize with Orchid fertilizer (or 14-14-14) every 3-6 month (or 1x a month with a foliar fertilizer). With proper care Orchid plants will bloom year after year.. Keep away from extreme cold and heat! Place flowers indoors between 60 – 85 degrees, away from heaters and air conditioners. Care instructions will be enclosed with your shipment.
